Diffraction gratings
Diffraction gratings are used to separate light into component wavelengths, are offered in both transmission and reflective varieties for use from the UV to the MIR. Our diffraction grating selection includes ruled (blazed), volume phase holographic, holographic, echelle, and a grating modulator.

Visible Volume Phase Holographic (VPH) Transmission Gratings are ideal for applications that require low polarization-dependent loss or high diffraction efficiency. Gratings with a 532 nm design wavelength (DWL) have a spatial frequency of 1800 lines/mm, and gratings with a 600 nm DWL have a spatial frequency of 600 lines/mm.
